I think that the JSON_PRETTY_PRINT is backwards compatible, but the others are not (?). My concern was that if we used unescaped utf8 or unescaped slashes on a PHP 5.4+ install, and migrated files to a PHP 5.3 install, that it would have issues with json_decode(). I could be wrong, I guess I need to track down a 5.3 installation and test it out before making that assumption. :) |
