@klieret There's more CI breakage than I can fix here... Do you understand this stuff?

Seems like https://github.com/r-lib/actions shifted from using master as a default branch (or even an existing branch), and is now using v2-branch, recommending using v2 as version.

Is this something we can pull in from carpentries/styles as upstream, i.e. fixed by carpentries/styles#641 ?
