Pretty confident i found the actual cause of the changelog not being updated.
There was a breaking change hidden in #391
They changed the changelog update to require
<!-- version list -->at the top otherwise it silently fails.Semantic release continues to be my mortal enemy but also too helpful to give up.
I also update the build to use the exact uv commands they recommend.
