Hello! This is a great method, its really helped speed up some of my analysis.
I've added a tryCatch statement in the
lmmfunction, which stopslmmfrom exiting the function call when one gene fails to fit, due to thesystem is computationally singularerror in thevarestfunction.I haven't tested this outside the context of my analysis, so please double check my additions, hopefully I haven't broken anything! :)
