Bambu P2S was released relatively recently, but the plugin has not had support added for it.

I would like to see proper support for P2S, at least for reporting print statuses.

Attempting to use the plugin under P1S mode seems to work, but occasionally, Octoprint will fail to recognise an active print job sent from OrcaSlicer, which breaks features like job notifications and timelapses.

Your alternatives are simply print, obico, octoeverywhere. I'm not sure if I'll be able to add support without having one on hand, but there is current work getting local only dev mode printers working with OctoPrint's new comm layer in future release version 1.12.0. you might want to see if bambu-printer-manager Python module works for your p2s.
