Ability to manage load balancer objects

I want to manage director with the fastly cli but it lacks support

I want a cli command for the director / load balancer

As workaround it so use the API with curl directly.

Hello! You're absolutely correct that the CLI doesn't have support for managing directors (load balancers) at this time. It would be helpful for us if you communicated this need through your Fastly account manager, or via email to support@fastly.com, so that it can be recorded in our internal prioritization system.
